Meet Dr. Sharlene and Her Team

Sharlene K. Selvaratnam, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and completed her family medicine residency as chief resident at the University of Massachusetts. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She has received certified training from the Nutritional Network in LCHF/Ketogenic Nutrition and Treatment. Dr. Sharlene believes in the benefit of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporates the innovative principals with her practice.
Over the past 10 years of practicing family medicine, Dr. Sharlene found that many patients were being treated for chronic medical problems versus working on preventing or improving their health risks. Additionally, she grew concerned that many of her patients who were struggling to maintain a healthy weight were using medications that resulted in weight gain.
To drive positive change, she founded Reshaped™ Weight Loss & Wellness. By integrating both medical advancements as well as personal lifestyle transformations, her patients are safely losing unhealthy weight and positively changing their overall health.
